    lovely to see you on here again.......been missing too long!

    I see that hopefully there will the patter of tiny red feet on the Island before long...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I've always liked Mel's boys all the way back to her beautiful 'J. Southern Comfort'; he had such well angulated quarters....did you ever see him? What a head!

    My babes are 5 weeks now & go to their new homes Crufts weekend. Are you coming over for Gundog day? Hope to see you there....then we can compare beads!!! :)))

    Hi Ro,
    Thank you very much for your quick answer ! as I told you previously your setters are so beautiful, really the type I love. I'm not surprised of their top quality origin and by the fact they were already sold long time ago before they were born.
    My young boy is from Jonola Liberty X and Thendara Kramer, and I'm so happy and satisfied with him. He' s not only beautiful but with such an easy, lovely and adorable temperament. I was very lucky myself to be abe to buy a dog of that quality from England, that's why I gave him the nickname Lucky !
    I guess to get a second one, a little girlfriend for him will be a lot more difficult. There is no rush for me and I will take the time needed to find the most appropriate puppy.

    Morning Ro,

    Noticed your query concerning Betty Howard on Estelle Meiring's page.  Mark, my husband, and myself have regularly seen Betty at the Cape Town shows and her puppy Labrador and a young Irish male I bred (Wonfor's Oakdale's O'Driscol) vied for best Gundog Puppy in the group for most of last year.

    Mark will be taking our "Bliss" down to Cape Town at the end of February for the first of the seasons Champ Shows so will probably meet up with the Howards then.

    Mark, my husband, was exhibiting at the Cape Champ Autumn Show today and gave Betty Howard your best regards - she was curious to know how we knew you and, of course, Mark explained about Exclusively Setters.

    Betty's Junior Lab and Antony & Rowena Wonfor's Irish, still vying for top spot as Best Gundog Group Junior, Betty's Lab having the upper hand this weekend being best Junior both days with the Wonfor's Irish Oakdale's O'Driscoll Reserve (2nd) bred by ourselves.  Both Driscoll and our young bitch Oakdales Night O'Bliss picked up CCs 

    What is the breeding of your Irish family? I can we e-mailed on mss01@telkomsa  We are still experiencing very hot days, but thankfully the nights are cooling now. I see from the news that Europe has had one of the coldest winters on record - hope we are not heading for the same fate.
