did you take this picture at a hunting? in germany we say "waidmannsheil" (i can't translate it, but it's a traditional congratulation to a hunting success)
on saturday we are also going to a duck hunting day - I#m looking foward to ;-)

Sorry Petra for this misunderstanding - my comment on this photo was not to give attention on my blog post. Every time I look on Excl.Setters (sometimes it is not so often) first I give my attention to the hunting-scene-photos because I love such pictures. Please understand my comment only as an compliment.

I must say I much prefer a setter coming out of the water with a good grip of 'his' duck than a german whirehaired pointer... I remember having a small 'dispute' with a GWP I once presented for a test: when I wanted him to hand over the duck he said 'THIS IS MY DUCK'... (maybe that is why the owner did not handle the dog himself...?)
