Mum put us all into the car for another long trip - this time to the beautiful city of Salzburg in Austria.
I did not care about the city but loved the boars' and deers' smell next to our guesthouse and the nice fields.
Mum said these are…

Been trying hard to get to the Dutch club show for years - now finally with success.
And my little wonder girl Copper's Wine 'N Roses saw that beautiful rosette in the morning, with all those pink roses on and decided to take it home !! :) Tears of joy already when she won a big open class at only 25 months old and me totally confused when Neita was chosen as best bitch! thank you Mrs Pollard!

Szilvásvárad is a MUST.
Every second year at Easter it is time to move to Szilvásvárad for some days, one of the most beautiful places in Hungary. It is famous for its Lipizzaner stud farm as well. My favourite showground, always perfectly organized and beautifully decorated. It was mostly the weather gods that wouldn't cooperate: 2001 we had hail…

Yesterday my sweetie Danka turned 5 years!
After the extra looooong walk, of course she had to have her cake this year as well. I tried something different now, not as good in looks as the previous creations but I can assure you, Danka loved it :-)
Livercream, cheese and chicken necks :-)
The best pieces were taken onto the couch and…

We have been to the "100-years test" and my Odin is the healthiest girl one can imagine!!!! The vets did ultrasounds all over her body, heart, lungs, etc, EKG as well, also blood taken and examined. A full check from the tip of nose to the tail, outside and inside. And everything is perfect! Also calculus (?) was removed and her teeth are white and shiny again. I am soooo…

Still lots of work to do, many texts missing and many photos need to be selected for the galleries from all those CDs burned during the past years. Also a slight change in design is planned, I let my webmaster play around a bit before we decide on the final version :-)
Enjoy!

I received some photos of Odin's halvsister
Berboss Highlight "Jenny" with her birthday cake. She turned
13 years young on the 12th November! Jenny lives at kennel Garden Star's and is not only one of the most beautiful setters I've ever seen, but also a perfect brood bitch with many lovely children, grandchildren, greatgrandchildren.
Jenny is still in very good condition, enjoying life, loooong sleeps until noon and foooood…

Most of you already know, but i think, '
Odin' just deserves her own blog about this win ;-)
Being almost 12 years, she won the veteran class at the Eurodog Show in Budapest and also became Best Veteran. In the Veteran BIS she had a "veteran BOG' being chosen for the final decisions as the only one from the gundog group. Although she did not place in the best 4 of all those REALLY MANY veterans, I am really proud of her, as we were there…
