They do not live as long as we do, so to let them in your lives and love them means having to face losing them. It is very hard to lose one. You have my sympathies.
But remember - they're playing at the rainbow bridge, waiting for you. They can stand without pain, and run like they used to. Tell them to keep an eye out for Rosie (1976-1991), Kelly (1988-1999), and Maggie (1992-2005). Maggie's the big one who may look a little lost. - Mary S.
