Hi everyone Just a quick update on puppies, weaning now is going great as they don't have much choice since mum has been very poorly and had to stay overnight at vets.

We had to take her back again Saturday morning as another gland had swollen up and this time it had erupted which had left an big hole in her mammary gland. Poor love I so can sympathise with the mastitis as when I had my twins oh they were so painful when I was trying to stop breast feeding. Vet said it was a good thing as all the infection would now be able to drain.

Trouble is she still wants to try and feed them so we have to shut her away from the pups she pops in at the end of feeding and she just gives them a little top up. Puppies are growing up very quickly and are mischievous and playful, toes seems to be a favourite, it's great fun watching them running around my kitchen.

Thanks every one yes she's on the mend, I must admit to being tearful when I had to leave her at the vets.

Now it's just a matter of selling them.

4 of them have been reserved with deposits, 1 boy, 1 girl did have bookings and both had prospective new owners who were very keen they had booked viewings and then cancelled the day before. Had to turn 2 people who had inquired, kept their numbers but  unfortunately have found another breeder,

How is Bronte these days? looking at those great pictures you can only have fun with them ... some work certainly but better than cleaning the floor or dusting the house  :-)
I am sure they will soon find a forever lovely home, so enjoy and good luck with them!
