For those of us interested in training & developing trust in us with animals

I have just attended Equitana an horse expo  held in Sydney Australia where the world's best horse trainers and/or riders have gathered to impart their knowledge.  One of the participants was Stacy Westfall from the USA.  Those interested in bringing out the best in our animals can only marvel at the trust and respect this horse has for her rider.  This youtube clip I have was from 2006 when she was competing freestyle having just lost her father shortly before the event paying tribute to him.  She rides without a bridle or saddle to a very enthusiast and noisy audience.

There are lessons to be learnt from this in the way we communicate and treat others whether they be dogs, people or horses in order to bring out the best in them and ourselves.

... thank you so much for sharing that video with us! I think that only a horse owner/ rider can imagine what it means riding a horse without any bridle and saddle!!! It was amazing watching that video! I wish I could ride my horse a quarter as good as she can  - just breathtaking! Greetings from Germany :-)

Sorry put this on my other repeat (a mistake)..Hi Kerstin, pleased you enjoyed it.  I was a little unsure whether to post it being a dog lovers site but having just met her (she is very petite) .. with that obvious huge bond of trust they share, her incredible riding ability, hopefully it would …
