Happy 11th Birthday Darling Joy!!!

How time flies!!! This was me in the summer of 2008 - and now besides of the same church in Ticino in January 2019:

I had an adventurous life and travelled a lot and hope to be able to explore the world still a few years longer. But first things first: Last year in early spring we went to a town near Neapel, that was destroyed by a volcano. We explored the old streets of Pompeii:

That was fun! Here's a pillar of an old church:

We then went on to Sicily - but I cannot recommend this - there are so many stray dogs there, that are quite aggressive and even on this picture, I can not just up and go because of all the broken glass near the path. Otherwise it would be ever so lovely here:

I'm too old to run from other dogs or put up a fight! This next portrait of me is not 100% sharp but she says, I do so much look like mum:

When we go on hikes, I now need more time to rest, so we have a break every hour:

I still love to go on extended hikes:

And see: We made it to the top:

 Summer, we spent again in Scotland, where the temperatures are not as high as back home:

And in autumn, we again explored the mountains at home - we could not go too far though as I tore the sole of my paw open - once again!!:

This was last autumn and the trees were golden as are my autumn years:

Winter was a bit dull but then spring came and I'm again en'Joy'ing lovely walks and tours:
