Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
It was a year ago today that everyone here was wating for...Saffy was enormous, Nicole and I took her to the vet, just for a checkup, and she stayed in, much to my dismay...and in the afternoon we were all in shock, Nicole poor Saffy and I. 15 puppies. Unfortunately we lost a little boy at two days old, but all the rest.......Fine fit and healthy..
So I am writing a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all the 'kids' they have exceeded my wildest dreams, they are all so very beautiful and the ones that are in the show ring are doing so well.
Fin is my boy (Mayfred Mr Magnifico) We tried to take some standing pictures of him....but it wasn't to be....just couldn't get him to stand still long enough, but that as they say is the nature of the beast..he will do what he wants, and mostly does.
So I just want to wish My wonderful Findlay, and all the others in the litter, a VERY HAPPY HEALTHY BIRTHDAY and a long and happy life. Lots of love to all of you out there from your first MUM's
I will try and post some pictures later, we did manage to take some but I have to wait and get help to actually put them on the blog...hopefully
He escaped too soon and......
Then went wild and we just couldn't catch him, I think that I have seen this expresion somewhere before.....Lana......
Even though we are too late for the birthday wishes, the photos are great. The Irish must be the same as the English when it comes to photos. Mine wait until I am about to take the photo and then they all turn in different directions or take off. The only way I can get them to look at the camera is to hold a squeeky toy in my hand and this does not always work. I do not mind being ruled by the Setter paw.
Best wishes from Susan and her English Setter kids
