Do you like my new sock? I had to have a minor operation to remove a nasty piece of bark from my foot last week, the vet sent me home with a lime green sock and Micawber and I didn't like the colour very much so we pulled it off between us. Then I had to go back for a new one on Saturday and they gave me a blue one at least it's not so bright and not everyone stares at me. Trouble is I can't have any proper exercise just a stroll round the garden but I do get lots of cuddles especially when they ask to see my bad paw.

Not too sure what happened he had a nasty inflamed swelling between his pads and the vet thought there was probably something in it so best to have a look.  She found a couple of pieces of bark and he came home with a course of pencillin and his lovely sock. What happened to Darwin?

Ohh poor boy with his sore paw. We have had this here too, in our case it was a pine needle. I now keep vet wrap bandage in my first aid kit, for replacing paw dressings and other stuff.
