So proud!

This week I am so proud of Pitanga that I have to share it with everybody!

My girl, once a trouble maker and loner that had no conection with me whatsoever has taken a 180º degree turn!

Over the last year she has became calmer and kinder, and has made a good conection with me and people in general. She became more and more atentive towards what I was saying to her and became a great company for kids, wich I honestly never expected.

And this week...oh, this week I am the proudest owner in the World!!!

Last Tuesday, we went on a really long walk in the city because we were walking a friend home. I always walk my girls on a double leash, and they do not pull, but Tuesday night Pitanga's sweet nose never left the side of my leg for a second! She kept on looking at me with her "I'm such a good girl and I love you" look that melts my heart... Then of the leash she trully mastered the "side" comand, wich is something that we have been working for several months now, with medium succes, but on that walk she just clicked and did absolutely perfect "sides" with lots of distractions around us!

Then there were lots of small changes in her behavior that kept making me proud... She has never been so conected to me, and keeps paying atention to everything I do and say, and I believe I have never seen her hapier, and it seems she is enjoying the "good dog" side of her life. If you add to this the fact that she has finally put on some weight, she has became a delight to everyone's sight both for her looks and for her manners!

Pitanga and Romã are turning upside down the dum reputation IS have! All my neighbours find that they are the smartest and better behaved dogs they have ever seen on the area and everybody loves them...

Romã was never a trouble maker and is a wonderful young dog that gives me no work at all... I am always proud of her! But Pitanga has come such a long way that I decided she deserved a blog post about it :)
