We have been training in Skorped this weekend

We have been to a dog training weekend and just want to tell that it was very nice! It was too bad that I was so pending the penicillin course of treatment saturday night but Sunday was better.
The dogs looked to be almost great, but I was a little disappointed when the dogs did not want to track, but they are pointing dogs and not soppouse to track. Well, that's outstanding bird dogs and chicken hybrid Ylva was taking from home back and forth was really useful. All the dogs have pointed for it, and Arthur. Kim and Settra come on how they would get that mouthful out the cage, which almost succeeded a few times.

Arhur did go a short, simple little track and I had to really be of clear enough to show what was expected of him yesterday. Enya catch the idea a little faster as she has done before. They did pulled out the tiny track both and Arthur actually hanging on Gabbis fresh trailer track after the huge elkbone Saturday night.
Kim had a little race with a cat when we were about to go wild track last night. He ripped from me and I swore a thing or two words and was amazingly sick of him. Yesterday he tried to do the same thing, but I have been a little alert today so I put him in the hill and drove a little obedience after that. All the dogs, I have run a little obedience and I am satisfied with what we achieved in all cases.
But the great! What I'm most proud of is that Arthur actually fetch wing! He likes to carry, but bird he thought was creepy. I did take the bird home so we will train more with it. The wing worked great to practice obedience with ..

Too bad that I can`t take it into the show ring next weekend ...
In any case, it feels really good and I make sure to train arthur more for the training weekend in Dylta in August as we are invited to. I hope to test Arthur the spring or even fall depending on how fast he is progressing. He is very easily learned, so I am amazingly happy. We have some different rules in Sweden for compete for the championship and if i want to get there is best for us to go the hunting test with my digger grandson. I wait for the pictures from the photograph, I will update with pictures then

Hi Ulla,
It was great to read all about your training weekend and congratulations on Arthur's success in retrieving the bird wing.
I have had similar success with my boy, Ray, and yesterday he joined a 'Hunting, Pointing and Retrieve' Group's Natural Aptitude Day and the success rate of the Group was 50% Passes and Ray, who is an Irish Red & White Setter, was one of those that Passed with Gradings of 4 and 3. He almost rated a 5 on his water retrieve but just at the last moment he put the dummy down then shook but afterwards picked up the dummy and presented it to me.
I now have another Certificate to frame making it the eight Certificate he has won for his 'working' and obedience.
