Thank you for your kind words and yes I have many wonderful memories of my boy. The last two months have been very emotional here as we hoped so much that we would be able to control SLE with meds but, we were not able to. I know when I am ready there will be another setter by my and the girls side.
Thank you again for you kind words as I am having a hard time with dealing with loosing my boy.

Thank you for your kind comment regarding the illustrations Catherine!
These particular illustrations were done for the swedish kennelclub magazine. There was a suplement with just the WDS-Stockholm. I work for the kennelclub magazine (and plenty of other magazines and newspåapers as well). And yes, I have published 9 books to date, but only 4 so far with funny stories and illustrations. You can check out some of my work on my website.:-)

Hi Catherine, I quite understand your thoughts!
Actually with already 4 dogs at home I had no plans for keeping a puppy from this litter. My hope was for a bitch to be placed on breeding terms but with only three bitches in the litter and a couple of buyers interested in a bitch for breeding themselves, I decided that as long as the line is continued it did not really matter if it was under my affix or somebody elses.
Dillan was not planned! What happened was that the puppy dog Daredevil (Dillan) was second pick and when his intended new owner had to pull out, I persuaded my friend Manuela that we keep Dillan in partnership... so I can show him and she can train him;-))
I must admit that after 30 years of owning only bitches I am really quite enthusiastic about showing and working a dog!
What are your future plans?
best regards
Susan

Amicalement,
Hello Catherine,
Hope you and yours are all well!
We actually refer to Shannon as 'Fuzzy Wuzzy wuz a bear...' a childhood song that stuck for over 40 years;-))
Hello Catherine and thank you for your comments.

Thank you so much for that, this site has been a great comfort at this time, everyone is so kind, I got her back AGAIN, she was in again yesterday, but this time we have, I hope, got it sussed, it seems that her innards are not quite where they should be, it is rather worrying, but she seems, at the moment to be getting over it, operating on them is dangerous at the best of times, but when it is totally unnecessary, I think that makes it worse, but thank you again Dee and the girls
Hello Catherine, thanks for your kind remarks! It really was agood day and a friendly atmospehere. You are welcome anytime!!!

we seem to be experiencing a typical internet problem... It is so easy for misinterpretations to crop up. No harm intended:-)
