I'm sorry to read about Max's condition and wish you all the best and lots of courage in this difficult time and hope it will go well and that you can still enjoy many good years together.
I do so hope you will get an 'all clear' for Max. But whatever happens - even if his life is cut tragically short - you have shared wonderful times together and nobody can take those moments from you.

Thank you for the great news! I am so pleased to hear that Max is acting like a setter again!It is extraordinary how quickly dogs can recover from surgery...much quicker than us humans! And the staples will be out tomorrow too...
