Hi everyone,

I am just a bit down because I had to leave Gina behind for more blood tests. At the moment, she is at the local university clinic, sedated with a catheder and needles to get blood samples.
I know I am emotional, but it hurts so much to leave her behind. She trusts me so much and she doesn't know wha't going on. She was guided out by the nurse, along the corridor, turned around and looked at me with big sad eyes as if to say," why are you leaving me?" I am fighting my tears while I am writing this. Well, I can pick her up at 3.30pm. It is 1.00pm now. My emotions are riding roller coaster. Good to get it out of the system. Gina's allergy has turned so bad on her mouth and her eyes. She scratches herself bleeding. It is heart breaking. The whole pack is suffering. We'll have the results within and desenstization plan in the next few days. Thank you for listening!

Sorry to hear of your worries and hope the testing brings some results! She must be having a hard time - and you too...
Wishing you all the best - keep us informed.

Hi,
I really hope Gina's tests are helpful and thet she gets well soon. I am currentely a vet student, and when i had to leave Pitanga one night in the University hospital (where i am all the time, with her, so she is used to being there) i was scared and worried too. Even so, i can only imagine how worried you must be!
But I wanted to ease up your mind a bit, if the teaching hospital is at all similar to ours, the vets and nurses are suposed to train the students to be loving and careful, so Gina was probably filled with love and attention while you were not with her. It's not the same thing as your love, but it'l help her get trough that time :)
All for the best, and keep us posted on your lovely dogs!
hi llona so sorry to hear about gina, she will im sure be ok and i hope you soon get to know what the allergy is caused by so that it can be treated .please let us know the outcome
My thoughts are with you Ilona and I hope that you receive the results and answers for poor Gina. It is always hard for us because our dogs mean that much to us. Keep your spirits and POSITIVE thoughts because Gina will need you when she comes out today - you have to be strong for her.
Keep us all informed and we are all here for you.
Only one more hour to go before you can collect Gina.
Pat
