Dear Gudjon,
Still love your photos! Can you tell me more about your grouses? They seem to be very interesting creatures, at least for us, who don't have them in our country. Strange that they let you go so close to take these pictures! You would hardly take these close pictures from pheasants here.
Bye, Petra
Glad to hear from you. I haven't been on this site for quite awhile; but I'm always glad to hear from anyone interested in bird dogs and setters in particular!
Spent the past week-end in Grand Junction Tenn. Checked on the NRSFTC display and ran into some ran into some red dawg folks while there. Reply with some info. about yourself and your field dog activities.
I'll be lookin' for ya! RJS

Oh yes I like the liquid variety of this bird ''the Famous Grouse'', (I do come from Scotland) but they just seem to be sitting there letting the dogs come so close, we had 'red eared Grouse' near to my last house and they would fly up when the dogs got close, they couldn't get anywhere near them. Well actually the dogs would trip over them...;0))
Hello to Iceland !
Send regards to Bergthor if you meet him. The mating with Randi's Red Oks did not suceed, it was too early. But we have now mated Lohmann's Lawine with Lohmann's Klavinius and hope for puppies in april.
So now I know, where TRIX is hunting with;-)))
Please keep me informed about trials etc. in Iceland. Hope to see your island one day !
