About Me:
We are both keen hunters, Field Trial judges with international experience and breed Irish Setters with strong scandinavian influence. Recently we 'adopted' an IRWS lady with fantastic hunting skill and entered the circle of IRWS breeders as well.
Last year I also became FCI show judge for pointers and setters. Thanks for all support on that long way !

Lohmann's Momo wins CACIT

Feels like heaven. My husband just called and said that our homebred Momo (daughter of Lohmann's Erna, who is out of FTCh. Lohmann's Dietze x FTCh. Lohmann's Carlotta) has managed to get her final points for the title of a GERMAN HUNTING CHAMPION today and not only just, but with a strong first price including CACIT. Actually I can't remember when last an IS won CACIT in Germany...
This lady is simply amazing, especially as she is just back from maternity.
O.K. time for me to prepare some cooked… Continue

Field Trial in Denmark

On 5th of october the Danish Hunters association (DJ) organised its winnerclass trial at Sealand. To get the start permission for a winnerclass trial, a dog must have achieved a 1st price in open class within 24 months before.
These trials are very much appreciated, especially as the first winner gets the start ticket to participate at the Danish Championship (DM) next sunday.

This years winnerclass saw a strong pointer competition and still....the winner has a red coat;-))
Here are the results… Continue

GSCD Field Trial / Bad Tennstedt 12./13. april 2008

This weekend the GS club of Germany held it's spring trial in east germany. With an entry of 40 dogs (IS, ES and GS) for the 2 days, coming from Germany and Switzerland we started in big open, slightly hilly fields. In young dogs class you can enter your dog in a kind of talent test (JAP), Derby solo or Derby couple. We saw some really great youngsters mainly from french/german GS blood. Field Trial class was not so lucky, due to many hares, roedeer and some other things that can happen;-)

Sending all my thoughts to her sister Lohmann's ONDRA, who is on the transit from Frankfurt to Seoul/South Korea, where she will be embraced by Lohmann's Klaus. Hope she has a safe journey and will find as many pheasants as her older kennelmate;-)))

Hallo Christiane,
Lg Kerstin

Hi Christiane!
Thanks for congratulations. I too would like to congratulate to the Balou, Appolo and all sisters and brothers and to wish good luck and the future victories.
Some IRWS ;) has very much a more potential, it is necessary to cope with it only. At it the good nose, it have point and has the big passion of the hunter, but while there is no obedience in the field. But Assol still small at it all will be ahead.
Before field trial in Krsnodar rigion was dog show of national hunting system (not FCI) . All interested persons could participate. I have exposed in a ring of Assol. In younger group till 1,5 years the maximum estimation - it is very good. АSSOL - GOOD.

I was dissatisfied work of Boy on field trial, but it has pleased me with beautiful works on hunting after them.
best regards
Lena

Hei Christiane. I left a message in your gestbook a few weeks ago? I mated my bitch with a full brother of your IRWS, I kept a bitch out of the litter and she is also working very well. Since Terry are doing good on trials, this must be a good litter. Are you going on trials with Faolain? TE
