- How many Irish Setters do you have?
- 4 girls, "Tessa" Chic Choix Quailmoor Nemea, "Lily" Irish Melody Wild Rose and from my first litter "Demi" Xenaran Afterparty. Our only male is also from my first litter, "Ransu" Xenaran After-Effect.

- About Me:
- I have had setters since 1996 and at the moment we have six fantastic girls, which three of them are gordons and three are irish redheads. We, me and my husband, enjoy living in the countryside in western Finland and our dogs love the freedom and nature in the country as well.
I got my prefix, XENARAN, few years back and our first litter was finally born in the beginning of 2008.
Our setters life with us as family members and they are a huge part of my life. I am into all kinds of outdoor activities with our setters and dogshows too, occasionally.

Our next litterplan is taking place at the end of the year 2009, when our "Tessa" CHIC CHOIX QUAILMOOR NEMEA will be AI'd with frozen semen from outstanding male from Australia "River" EIREANNMADA RIVERDANCE.
The litter is linebred back to Quailmoor Georga Brown and Meadowlarks Energizer.

Irish Melody Wild Rose & Vicary's Yedidah puppies are here !!
The couple produced a very nice litter of seven pups, 3 males and 4 females.
Strong, healthy and lively babies are doing real well, mommy Lily was a bit tired afterwards.

Our puppyplans: Vicary's Yedidah & Irish Melody Wild Rose
We are expecting very interesting litter from combination Vicary's Yedidah & Irish Melody Wild Rose. The pedigree of the litter consists of both middle-European and also British showlines.
Both of the soon-to-be parents are in excellent health and they both have very friendly, loving and outgoing temperaments.

Gordon Setter puppies for Summer 2008
Our Tara (Showpoint Day After Day), 3 x CAC, 1 x BOS & 1 x BOB, was AI'd in May, and we have confirmed her pregnancy by an ultrasound scan.
Taras handsome fiance is Triseter Ebonie Nirvana.

I find it really interesting to compare the differenses in the rules between different countries :)
In Finland we have a different rule (accepted by our Kennelclub) conserning the legal incompetence of the judge. Here the judge is not valid to judge a dog if he or his familymember is the dogs 1)owner, 2)handler, 3)breeder or 4)holder by an agreement.
So in Finland Mr. Kares cannot judge any dog with Chic Choix prefix.
Indeed, interesting to see that rules can be different.
What happens.... if: I own a dog from breeder A -who is also a judge- and enter that dog for a show with judge B. Judge B will break his leg f.e and will be replaced for that show by judge A... Will they pay back the fee then because I would not be able to join that show? (just wonder)
