I had the honour of being invited to judge at the international show in Rostock. The Landesgruppe of the Verein Pointer u. Setter made me very welcome and I had a super team to assist me in the ring. The atmosphere was very friendly and I would thank all exhibitors and helpers for making this a pleasant day.
It was a lovely end of day seeing the Irish Setter bitch Brilliant Bronze Siofra Little Elf winning the group.

Mmmh - that goes down nicely;-)) I'll start purring soon ... like our cat Magic who is sitting on my keyboard keeping an eye on things.
Seriously, from 5 absentees 4 were from the same owner, so I assume for some reason they just could not make it. Rostock is not a big show I found and this was only the 5th time it has been run, with a total of 2002 entries over two days. But it is in a lovely area and nice surroundings - I'd go as an exhibitor if it was not quite so far for me. On Saturday I had time to wander around Rostock and sit by the harbour watching the sailing boats in wonderful sunny weather:-)) I even saw a dog beach shown on the map!!!
