Austrian Clubshow and a show in Hungary for hunting breeds 21-22.06.2008

Last weekend we made our way to Austria, to participate in the yearly arranged ÖKEV Klubsiegerschau (= Club Show). The club invited Velimir Sruk from Croatia to judge the pointers and setters.

I hoped to receive a class win with CACA, so Danka would finish her championship even in Austria. I knew that we would not get the club winner title as we were not club members (stupid rule, by the way)... But I did not care, I went for my CACA ;-) And she did it (ok, she was alone in the class)!!! And as an icing on the cake, she went on to be BOB after 30 rounds of running in the ring, with 35 degrees in full sunshine! Poor me... After the judging, the organisators started to remove the ring, etc. and I was a bit confused as it looked like they forgot to arrange a Best In Show which should be the highlight of every show. So I asked and I received some mystical answers. But as they had the BIS competition in the invitation, they had to arrange it :-) Danka became Best In Show-3, she was not fond of running more and more in the heat. But I was happy anyway!!!
She is now HJCH HCH HGCH HSCH ROCH LUXCH ÖCH Copper's Music And Paws - without all the winner titles mentioned - but I hope she does not mind if I don't call her like that and stick to 'Danka' :-)))

The day after we traveled to the Show of Hunting Breeds in Hungary. After arriving, we realized that there was a change of judge - and I was not really happy about it... If I had known, I would have stayed at home instead :-( Danka was BOS, so she did OK but I just hate these changings of judges :-( And it was very warm again, I am red all over and it hurts a lot :-(

congratulations to both of you ladies!Was I right?!I know my colleague the judge likes running and running......glad you have survived by this heat and Danka too.Who was Bob in Hungary and who was judging?
I know the story about the club winners,it was not so complicated in Slovakia with Odin.
