Exclusively Setters

Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

I spent 3 wonderful days in the mountains(hoyfjell) with our youngest setters. We were giving a tour de mountains to a young gordonsetter with her owner.

Still the grouse are missing so we had no moments of joy for the dogs. They worked amazingly well even though nothing was found. True hunters never give up!

the mountains in Norway were covered with snow already

Autumn with its beautiful colours suit the setters perfectly, don´t you all think?

I don't want to be repetitive, but wow! I think there is no need for words. Still envy you because of climate, fauna and flora. Here we still have hot weather, yesterday we had 34 degrees (our nice European four season climate goes into desert climate). Today somewhat better but I can't wait autumn arrives.

Laura, would we bother with dogshows if we had this kind of alternative...?
Meeting up there? Me too, says I...

Why not publish your pics? Sceneries like those are missing in Scandinavian books on setters. Most others miss the essence - enjoying landscapes. Use a setternose as worlds best landscapeguide! Anyway thanks - your pics were more times the only reason to visit this site full of pics of parakeet in cagessetters. Maybe the contrast is the most attractive!
