All I got for Christmas was socks!!!

Mom says they are shoes, not socks! And they are not meant for winter but for summer when we go hiking again. I once lost a toenail in the grid of iron stairs - we've seen lots of those stairs last summer and autumn (!) - so the shoes are meant to protect my feet - and the back of the one who needed to carry me - honestly, I myself prefer walking than being carried. But I wanted to try the shoes on now and after keeping my two tin-openers amused by walking like a storck, I managed to pull on the leash again and run, run, run.

Sorry you two - but the shoes are not for winter! The red layer on top is full of wholes so that the paws get enough air in summer, but in deep snow the paws just get wet and cold after a while (without waterproof socks inside...) - so we tock them off after half an hour and wait till summer!

What lovely socks! I bet they are suitable on cold winter days when the snow forms ice between the pads?

They look really good, a couple of my girls have had blisters on the bottom of the pads in the summer when it is very hot. No problem of that here at the moment...ha ha..;o))
Very fetching colour as well matches the dog..;o))

I think they are great! I would like some for my boy, for tracking, etc. Yes, I would love to know if there is a website where we could order them?

Their measuring system said small (but at the limit) - we took medium, because we thought if they are too small, Joy would soon loose them - in our vicinity there is a small shop where we could try them on. They are not cheap but well done. There is one problem though: The velcro strap is exactly where the extra nail is and therefore pressing that nail against the paw!!! One lady told me that her dog got an inflammation because of that. I will not use them for more than 30-40 minutes at a time and if we have to put them on for several hours (due to too rought surface) I will bandage that part of the paw so that the nail scratches against the bandage.I hope that was helpful info... oh and we took them in red not only because they look great, but also because they are easier to find if lost by our wild girl...
