My beautiful 6 year old boy Ruairi was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive type of leukaemia last week, we're keeping him at home and he's having gentle medication. As it's terminal and strong chemo would make him sick and don't want to put him through that for just a month or two more.
We are totally beside ourselves with grief right now.
He's having all the love and attention we can give him and lovely walks and his favourite food.
Cherishing he days with him and weeping in the night.

Soo very sorry wish there would be something I could say or suggest, I have been there with a 4,5 year old Irish who fighted 3 weeks against bone cancer....

I'm so very saddened to hear of poor Ruairi's illness. I'm sure you'll be strong for him and be there when he needs you the most. Meanwhile you are doing your best for him and giving him all the love in your hearts.

I well know the despair that leukaemia raises, having lost our grandson to this dreadful illness. We had 4 years to fight it, and build our precious everlasting memories. You too will have lovely memories to help you through.

Hugs to you and yours, and of course Ruairi...

Such sad news about your beloved Ruairi. May he run free and happy, with the wind. XXX
