Ginger is 8 years old now!

Two months ago we thought we were at the end of the road. In 3 weeks she had two times a status epilepticus. We decided that if she would have another one we would let her go. The specialist added a fourth drug and she is doing well on it. Today we celebrated her birthday. I didn't make a birthday cake but a birthday dinner for her. At the bottom there is some rice with Greek style yoghurt. The topping is fresh raw salmon and some slices of banana. There are also two small raw meatballs and (ssst) they contain her meds.
She loved her dinner! :-) She is already looking forward to the summer holiday. At the end of July she will be in Sweden again!
