JUST BRINGING YOU SOME AUSTRALIAN COLOUR AND SUNSHINE

Seeing as many of you are suffering from"snow blindness," I thought I would send some photographs, taken last night, of our gorgeous night sky, as well as some cheery, sunny days. Not that I am trying to gloat or anything!!!!! but the scene is set - warm, balmy night, sitting until late on the verandah, chilled Australian wine in hand, yummy nibblies, Irish Setters quietly snoozling nearby........anyone for a top-up???

Thank you Myra, really needed to be reminded of your beautiful summer although very wet in places I hear. Won't get over until 2011 sad to say, so looks as though we'll be in winter for a few more months yet!! Lois

Seems you've hit a nerve here, Myra:-)) I'm siiting here with cold fingers, cold nose, dark and even colder outside and thinking we are in for a long and cold winter...

Minus 5 C and loads of snow expected tonight...greetings from frozen europe!

Lovely photos of the beautiful country we live in!  It has been lovely up here this past 2 weeks with lots of sunshine and very little rain.... a little humid though, but glad to have the fine weather after weeks of rain (about 1000mm).
