Justice for the dogs poisoned at San Marino Int.Dog Show

Saturday 28th may 2011 during the San Marino Dog Show several dogs died due to a strong poisoning. One was a small dalmatian puppy!
The San Marino Kennel Club knew that lately there had been several other cases of poisoned dogs in the same area and warned the expositors only with a panel posted in a couple of spots.
They did not change the place of the show, they did not prepare an efficient and quick veterinary service and at first they did not even want to cancel it.
It was only after the expositors' strong protest that the event was cancelled.
We think that the Kennel Club of San Marino was ineffective and is co-responsible for those dogs' death, and we ask the FCI to revoke the CACIB to the San Marino Dog Show as soon as possible. Effectively, the San Marino Kennel Club showed its inability to handle an International Dog Show with so many entered dogs and people.
This is the least sanction to a tragedy that could have been avoided.

I was there and was really  BAD time for all of us....we leave from there very quikly and all of our dogs are ok...but it is a HORRIBLE thing!

Terribly, terribly sad, indeed. Our thoughts are with you all, who have endured this awful turn of events.

I was interested to know how the poisoning had occurred and found this

The fact that it was deliberate is shocking and must be very worrying for future dog shows until the poisoner is caught.

That was horrible and all oh us that was there are in activity for make justice!!!!

The Kennel Club knew that from 2 months, because we found many articles on the web about that thing and they start from April :-((((( Why they don't change the place...they don't annulled before...that's for us really crazy thing, in all things here they need to wait some died for start to do something!

Many Kids at show...they paly on the grass...if that poison kill a dog of 30 KG can be the same with a kid of 30 kg...i cannot think about that...

I am happy to be lucky that all my dogs come back with me at home....but really really disappointed and sad....

It is so sad, it can happen everywhere, hope clubs will be more responsible and prepared.

Valery of course I would love to sign the petition, still cannot believe that people can be that cruel, and try avoiding to think too much of all the owners who have lost their dogs.... quelle horreur!!!

I went to your link, manage to join the facebook list but could not find a way to sign the petition. Could you please let us know what has to be done?

Thanks for informing us and thanks to Rosie for the link with more info.
