Thank you so much Peter. We had a great weekend! It was certainly lovely to look back through those challenge certificates as I recounted the points -just to make sure-and recall some of her really nice wins, so many of them under breeder judges.

Hi Peter
it's nice to know you, too. the same thing here with us - each day starts with that lovely being. and when there is a storm, like the one we had last night, he makes a few visits during the night - such a baby. I must agree with you - they don't know what they are missing.
cheers

Hi Peter, I haven't got too many photos yet. Bridget is still in quarantine, but as soon as I get her home (about the 22/6), I will load some photos. Had a busy weekend with 2 champ and 1 open show. The judges liked the English dogs - Mr R. Cleland and Mr R. Redhead from South Aus. Clancy won Intermediate of Group at the Saturday Champ and Open Shows. Sunday, we got Best of Breed, so a great weekend for us. He is only 22 months old. He has 35 points towards hi title now.

Good luck at the show on the weekend. We have another two shows this coming weekend. cheers, Cheryl

Hi Peter, that would have been such a shock and what a tragedy to lose such a beautiful young boy. So sad, Cheryl XX

Hi Peter,
I do promise in time you will feel better. Morgan is at the rainbow bridge now and you will both always have very fond memories of each other. I know this time is the hardest and when they are so young it seems so unfair that they were taken from us. I hope that over the coming days and weeks your pain will lessen. Nicky

Hi Peter, thanks for this. What a great name. Perhaps he should have been called "Frankie" as the singer of "Walk like a Man". Have fun and I look forward to updates along the way of the lovely Elton, cheers

Hi Peter,

Glad to hear Elton made sure you had a nice birthday. I can see that we are friend in grief. Not that it had helped me with my own sorrow, but reading the ES site, made me aware that a lot of us are suffering from the lost of our special companion. I guess it has to be expected as we cannot keep them forever, but it still doesn’t make the process more bearable.
I was lucky to meet a wonderful ES site’s Lady, Debbie Lowndes, who like us, knows too well about this horrible experience. She took the time to wrote to me some wonderful messages to help me in my grief. This ES site is absolutely fantastic, it allows me to see all of you, so much passionate with your beautiful Irish Setters. I saw your beautiful Morgan, absolutely magnificent dog, and of course handsome Elton, the one who is bringing joy and happiness in your life now.
Many many many wonderful days with Elton Peter!

I love Afghan too, although to be honest I love all animals anyway, including the wee robin greeting me every morning, but after the setter and the borzoi, the afghan is my 3rd choice, but I do not think I will ever have one.... My sister had afghans, and you need to be really firm and consistent with them, they had a very strong character and were very determined boys. Not sure I can match them ... but what beautiful dogs!!!!

We do have some preferences for their look, size, attitude, etc, but at the end of the day, they are all fabulous companions and we love them all!

All the very best Peter
