Thanks Chantal we think his fear is based on people approaching him without giving him any calming signals all dogs upon approach give each other calming signals we have just read a book on this by Turid Rugaas called On Talking Terms With Dogs Calming Signals and it has made a staggering difference to our little pack.

thankyou very much Chantal he and I love to run around the ring together
That is great idea! We are planning round trip around Northern Ireland next summer, hopefuly. So we could meet somewhere on the nice beach and our red babies can become friends. Greeting from rainy Kilkenny
Thank you for all your lovely comments about my photos. I bought my digital camera just before Hammer arrived on 22 November 2006 so have taken lots of photos of all of them. I gave Jerry to Hammer on his 7th birthday. Hammer never aged in any way. The house is so quiet without him. No boxes being ripped apart, no toys being thrown in the air, no running through the house. I am really worried about both Hobson and Rose but grief takes time. Hobson used to walk with his head held high. Now he walks with his head held between his knees most of the time. It is so sad but they loved Hammer so much and they need time to get through their grief. This has nothing to do with the way I feel. As for Rose's health problems, I would not know where to start. I was trying to prepare myself that Rose may not be with us for long and then just after her birthday in February, Hammer started coughing up blood and Hobson's health fell apart. Even though I knew the complications of debarking was serious I did not expect Hammer to die. Neither did the vet specialists. The seizures Rose has suffered since Hammer died are not good to say the least particularly because of the symptoms she had prior to this. It is a miracle Rose is still alive, and I am grateful.
We nearly have Rosco's bloat problem under control. He still puffs out sometimes but it doesn't progress into bloat all of the time. The diet and reducing the stress is playing a major factor in keeping it under control. He's starting to put weight on and enjoy life more now. We can't cure it but we are able to manage it better now.

Hi Chantel so nice to 'meet' you as the owner of one of Beau's brothers - so exciting. When I get time I will put some photos of him on. Do you have any photos of Mac?
Thank you for the lovely greeting Chantal. I am glad you had some sun it was very grey here today. Holly and Cassie are having great fun and we will be having a full sister for them in December. Holly's mum and dad have had another litter so we are gluttons for punishment. Will post plenty of pictures.
Hope you and your three boys, 4 legged and 2 legged variety. Need another blog on Wee Mac and Darwin. Take care Yvonne xx
