Hi there Catherine
Just wanted to say a VERY BELATED Happy new year, to you and yours. Will you be at Crufts? Maybe see you there although I will be at the other end of the rings to you..
Hope to see you there Dee and the girls
Hello Catherine!
It would be so sad if this site only catered for one side, its the world-wide mix and setter-owners with many different types of dogs/activities that make this site what it is! :-)
Hi Catherine,
Thanks for the welcoming. I like your kids. Especially the one on the right in the September pic above! And I love the tons of chest hair on both.
I used to live in the south of England (Epsom), so I know what a small admount of snow does...:-)
Strange enough, living in the south of Sweden, we have had no snow whatsoever this winter...so you are leading so far!
Yes, I liked that photo, it was so very much "irish"!
Tamarisk - just before this line became extinct here, there was sperm collected by a friend of Tamarisk Tarragon of Duskhunter, but it failed.
It was a sad scene - most of my friends active in those lines died young, one in a plane crash.
Some were good duals some not. So intrested what the training at your place will offer. Keep me informed!
Do me favor by e-mailing a few pedigrees to Info@Iersesetter.com Will appreciate that!
Groeten-Henk.

No I know that this time, its a fair lot of snow. The difference is that in a country like Sweden I drive around with studded winter-tyres from end november (no use whatsoever this year) and in England you drive on summer-tyres all the year round.
We are expecting nasty roads, you are not...also I am horrified with the number of cars in England. The motorways blocked even on a "good" day. I can imagine the total disaster!
Every time I am over I am amazed at the fact that I took my driving test in London...I doubt if I would last 30 minutes now!
So yes, stay put!
The only sensible thing to do!
Bonjour Catherine,
Oh yes I did see on the news that you had a lot of snow, and the dogs love it. Up here in the north of Sweden we have 60 centimeters of snow and 15 degrees below zero. A perfect Februariday!
Sounds you live in a setters hunting paradise in south England!!! I will probably need to go for a week to France this month training youngsters. Luckily with a very experienced dam, a thrill on point. She did all so rough shooting, falconry (waiting on) and trials three EC's.
Last time we were in south England was collecting a Sandgate youngster for friends, after I took H. Ashley from Matlock, their mothers were sisters. Loooooooong time ago and luckily a week before planned date because last was when the Herald of Free Enterprise sunk.
I'm interested in pedigrees of all your present dogs not present in the Lena Armgard database, if that isn't too much work.
There is a friend here big farm huge area with wild partridge who is still more or less mourning this type became extinct in the Netherlands! He has a ft bred one now from me eleven years but the preceding one 100% H/B line still calls "my very best"!!! That is one reason I am very interested...
Heyhi Catherine, strange that e-mail address Info@Iersesetter.com does not work for you, there is a lot arriving. Another one is Henkloos@wxs.nl When it arrives it will sure make interesting reading!!! Henk.
I am so sorry Catherine,. My Gordon had not only terrible HD but also suffered tumours like your beloved Billy. My first dog Athos died of cancer, as well.
I noticed you lost Anna a year ago.. SO MUCH sadness. I am thinking of you a lot. I do remeber your kind comments when my Gordon died.
Cairo is my friends dog. They are on holiday now. I ve got him only for one week
Sweet tender baby.
