Shoosh, not a word to my hubby! I have a rotten cold and spent today (in school hours) in bed catching up on z's. However I accidentally left the staircase open (sort of) and was cuddled by Reuben on one side and the cat on the other. What wonderful comforts pets are when needing some Tlc .

In the olden days, people slept with their dogs to keep warm. To tell the truth, the good old heating system works well for us - what a lucky pack we are :))

Yes, I agree, nothing more comforting than having a lay down with your favourite little redheads!!! Love it. Don't worry about the hubby. After all he couldn't be home to comfort you, so you needed to have your dogs close!!

That is really sweet! I wish Cash would come in the bed and cuddle more often. He likes to sleep on his bed or the couch.

I can't imagine your hubby being upset as you were ill - best not tell him hey!!! My 8 month old Derry always sleeps cuddled up to me. He even puts his front legs round my neck or sleeps on my head. He wakes me up with a quick lick round my neck which is his message that he has had enough of the sleeping bit. It is very comforting on a cold night but if he keeps it up in summer then I'll have a problem as summer nights can stay up near 30C.
