kate and rubster x
Rita, Is there any coming up soon we can watch?
Kate there's race events been held now throughout the mushing season but they mostly include Huskies and Mals. You can enter Open Classes which allow setters, pointers etc,,, I'm not sure of anyone in the UK that runs setters though.

David we have an event in Galway at the end of November.
Is there anything in Donegal? That would be handier for us!
None in Donegal till the new year, but we are trying to sort a location in the North soon.
If your ever about this direction give me a shout and we'll take the dogs out and show you.

Our sled will be arriving soon so hopefully we'll get snow this year lol
Oh I hope you get lots of snow!! That would be great to see photos of the boys pulling a real sled;o))
Rita, Thanks! That's really good of you. I'm sure we will take you up on that. It would be great to get snow too, but that might stop us getting over to Donegal!

The dry land mushing looks great fun. Do you have to have a minimum of two dogs to do it? Would love to see it in action some time.

Hi Kay you can start with one dog and a bike or scooter...that's how we started. All you need is a dog who loves to run. The mushing season is nearly upon us now and we'll be travelling throughout Ireland again once September comes. We can get some training done over the Summer but we have to go by temp and humidity.
Kay I dont think you would have any trouble getting Travis to pull you;o))
