That was the first thing that went through my mind, ''did anyone else turn up'' why do the rest of you bother???? it seems to make a mockery of the show seen. There must be more dogs than that????
Congratulations to you Carol on your placings well done...
And sorry to everyone else, at not ''standing a chance'' at the two Irish shows, see you all on Saturday...if I can get a ferry!!!!

I was'nt at the show on Saturday but understand that there were only about 16 setters at that show and Sunday there were only 14 !! My Megan won the reserve CACIB on Sunday and Abbey was 2nd to Cathy's junior and got exc. grading!!! Megan will hopefully be awarded the CACIB as Cathy's bitch already has her 4 CACIBs(and the res winner gets the CACIB instead!!) Fingers crossed as it would be Megan's first CACIB!!;o))

Well done Carmel, lucky you!
Just wondering do you have different rules for Int; Ch from us over here?
We have to have 4 ib's from 3 different countries and 3 judges and 1year and 1day between the 1st & last ib;
At least now we have the International Show Champion title; though my Charmed had already her Int title having qualified in the field; but have one other who can now have the show title and 1 other needing the time and another one needing another country! Alot of running around to do;
But seeing as Ireland an island maybe you're allowed 2 countries or something?

The country thing is the only difference as we dont have the luxury of easy access to other countries(we would have to travel via ferry and possibly two ferries to get to other countries in Europe) !!!!! Also extremely expensive!! All our CACIBs can be in Ireland!! But the different judges and the time period is the same!

Oh lucky you!! Think I'll move back! hihi
Give you some more competition???
Comment by Carmel Murphy on May 5, 2009 at 3:45am
Competition!! Theres an interesting word!! Politics would be a more fitting word at the present time!! A lot of lovely animals are being over looked(including your lovely young boy!!) My opinion, but shared by many!! Lets hope for more brave, honest judges!!

Well yes alot can be said but??
If you can't beat them, join them! Why don't you start doing the judging thing Carmel?? It'll be the only way to bring about a change;

I have already started down that road!!;o))
