well sounds like a nice day was had by all....i had a great day at Birmingham National with my Sh Ch Field Spaniel he won his 15th CC and also got BOB, was pulled out of 34 Gundogs for a second look in the Group judged by F Somerfield, i didnt get any further but what she said to me as she shook hands with those leaving the ring was a funny thing to say..she said from all the gundogs she had gone over in the group he was the only one with good muscle tone!!!! so why did she not place him if she thought that???never mind he went ever so well love Carol and congrats to all the winners

Well done you and the Field Spaniel great day for you. I think that was a strange thing to say especially as she was saying good by to you. Oh well, chalk it up to experience. But well done anyway....

Hi Carol,
Very well done with your Field Spaniel. I was super for him to be pulled out in the Group. I know you are a bit puzzled by F Somerfield's comment about muscle, but the good thing is that at least she noticed.

Hi Dee,
You can order the CDs from Sylvie. Her e-mail address is; sylviecunit@gmail.com.
Yes, it will be very interesting to see the photos. I will probably post them with the results on the Blogs section, so that everyone can see them.

Hi there Carol
Will see you at SKC I will be trying to leave mine out in the car for as long as possible, the people on the door there are the worst, they won't let anyone with a dog in after, I think, 12.30...I have a dog that stinks of horse sh*t she found the sloppiest lump of FRESH stuff and rolled and rolled nearly all her front end ears and head, stinking animal. Have bathed her but she still stinks, any suggestions????
Thanks for that Trudy, I can't do anything at the moment, but will give it a go later, thanks for the email address....

Hi Carol
I use 'Touristil' and it really works - try before the show, quarter of a tablet, if not enough go up to a half; but sorry my Robin, half brother, still slobbers in the car though more reasonly now he's nearly two!; On arriving at the show use Plush Puppy Wonder Wash immediately, rub him dry and Bingo - clean dog!

Dee when I lived in USA I was told the easy way to get rid of very bad smells was to wash the area in tomato juice(was used over there to get rid of skunk spray(much worse than horseshit!!) so must be good!!)

Oh dear what do I do then, my dogs roll and eat the horse shit every day?
Seems like they smell normal to me; before the shows a normal wash with a good shampoo does the trick - I use mostly the Plush Puppy range but like to wash with Wahl copper tones, smells so so good
