    Hi there Lyn.
Don't know if you have noticed the picture of Jas in the kitchen, her eyes have a slight green tinge to them now. She is having real difficulties now. But she is coping, not as well as she used to, but doing reasonably well under the circumstances. Speak soon all the best Dee and the gang

    Hi there Lyn
I was going to ask if you had just been trimming her up...her ears look wonderful. I think that they like to be pampered. And lets face it she deserves it, I bet that you are looking forward to going on holiday. From what you say, I think that she really enjoys going away now, that she has it all sussed out as to where everything is in the caravan. Have a wonderful time, and I hope that we can meet soon.
All the best and love to all Dee and the gang

    Hi there Lyn

    I agree with you wholeheartedly.

I can't wait to see the pictures of your beautiful girl running on the beach, give my love to both Layla and the beach, it's been years since I have been there, it is one of those wonderful beaches that just goes on and on for ever, just make sure that she doesn't get tangled up with the Seals..Ha Ha

Jas would love to be there with you all..She is feeling so much better now that the cyst she has had for several years now has burst. She was running around like a puppy again..

Have a wonderful relaxing 10 weeks in the caravan...I will be thinking of you with envy...

All the best Dee and the gang

As a Grimsby girl I loved Cleethorpes as a child and thought it something special. I do go to the Humberstone Fitties with my sister to walk her Lab and sometimes I take my girls. For the beech we usually go to further down the coast to Theddlethorpe which is in the main deserted. Enjoy your 10 weeks holiday and I hope the better weather returns soon.

    Hi there Lyn
All OK with Jas. She trusts me so will trot out nicely she has been to about 4 shows lately and has only been in the Veteran classes and she has won all of them, she has also gone best veteran bitch in show and reserve best veteran in show, she just loves showing,,, Saffy getting second in Limit was wonderful that means that she now has her Stud Book number and is qualified for life, so thrilled with her, as for Fin he is really doing me proud, he is such an extrovert, just love him,, could kill him at times but love him to death.....
Speak soon love to all Dee and the gang

  • Marta Magi

So lovely to see you enjoy the time that is given to you together!! keep it up as long as you can! Words can't express how brilliant people you are in my opinion, as you have been making wonders with your sweetheart and you make life so happy for her. All my appreciations goes to you for that!
Give her an extra hug from me, please, and keep on having fun!! / Marta
  • Dee Rance

Hi there Lyn, I just think that she is wonderful, and you are too, the way you both cope, Jas seems to have her on and off days, today she just latched on to everyone that we met on the walk, she is so funny when she does it, but some don't really appreciate it.
I can't wait until Sunday, I am not really good until my classes are over, so will hope to see you after we have been in the ring, then I think a cup of tea and a quick natter, or maybe a long natter...
If you remember I used to live just down the road from Theddlethorpe, and of cause Donna Nook, I used to live between Covanham and Fulstow, near Louth.... but wouldn't go back there now, I love it up here in Scotland,
  • Dee Rance

I haven't long got back, after dropping Betty and Chloe off home, so am now off to bed, but had to write and say how nice it was to finally meet you, and what a lovely surprise to see the picturesof Fin that you posted, thank you again, I can't take any pictures because of my camera being broken, will have to save for a new one, then I can take some pictures, hope that your friend and the lovely Layla enjoy their food...Love to all Dee and the gang
  • Henry's Mom

Hello Lyn, Yes they are lovely lovely dogs. Dee must be very proud. I know I am one proud owner!!!!

Henry is just wonderful, we have an amazing bond and a mutual love for each other, this in turn, I'm finding it really easy to train him as he is always looking at me for direction, with that wonderful setter trust in his eyes.

But hey he also has his moments!!!! Then we would'nt have it any other way would we????

Best regards to you from us. xx
  • Myra Thomas-Rhodes

    Hi there Lyn
Thank you for your comment on the vaccine blog thing,, It isn't a cure, but I really do hope that she will have a little bit longer with us,
Hey Lyn my god I didn't realise that it was your birthday the other day, so so sorry for not wishing you a very happy birthday then, I do hope that you had a wonderful time, I bet you and the family had a great time. VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.
Hope that we can meet again soon, are you going to go to any of the shows near to your neck of the woods???
Again thanks for the thoughts greatly appreciated, I am sure that Jas knows that you are thinking of her, love to all Dee and the gang

  • Rodney Drinkwater (BRABROOK)

Thank you Lyn I love Irish setters, well apart from today, I'm painting my mum & dad house up and Blade tread through the paint and walked it all round the floor was not best pleased, lol. But yes hope to meet good people now I have joined.
  • Chantal McIlveen-Wright

    Hello Lyn,

Thank you for your friendly welcome Lyn, very nice of you.
Back from your holiday!!!! I am sure you had a fabulous time and I am waiting for the pictures ...
I was reading your page and saw all your pictures of course, Layla is beautiful... what a terrible story about her eyes!! it is such a sad thing... I am so glad to read that you are giving her all your love and attention.

A very special cuddle to her and to her friendly helper Lucy, a very nice weekend to you and your family.
  • David McIlveen Wright

Thanks, Lyn! It's great that others can share with us the fun and happiness we get from our dogs inthis lovely part of the world!
  • Chantal McIlveen-Wright

    Hi Lyn,

Was just wondering how is your beautiful Layla doing? Please give her a special cuddle from me
  • Dee Rance

    Hi there Lyn
Hope all is well with you...had a chat with Peter Bedford on Saturday, and then there was the person that was really horrible about poor Jas, some of them are just so darned cruel. How is your beautiful girl getting on?? haven't heard from you for a while, did you enjoy your holiday?? Speak soon Dee and the gang
  • Dee Rance

Hi there Lyn, glad that Lucy's KC didn't spread to Layla, Thanks for the comment on Darlington, (thought that you might have been able to come) he also did well at Driffield and ISAE they have exceeded my wildest dreams, so consistent. But such a naughty boy, my arms are black and blue. Good luck with the phone, I couldn't cope with something like that, a complete technophobe..Jas is doing fine but would really like the treatment to start very soon, the longer it takes to get the vaccine here the more chance that the melanoma will metastasise, but at the moment she is doing OK Thanks for asking, Love to all Dee and the gang
  • Dee Rance

    Hi there Lyn
Thank you for your lovely comments on Newton and Newton, he is looking really good, will you be going to Peterlee for the NEEISC show???
Speak soon Dee and the gang
  • Dee Rance

So sorry for the delay in replying...Jas had her first Vaccine nearly two weeks ago, she will be having her second on Thursday coming, all seems to be going well, she is doing really well she is eating like a horse and is loving her exercise, that is how I can gauge how she is doing, So sorry to hear that Layla got the K.C I hope both she and Lucy are better now, Fin had it earlier on in the year, so I know that it isn't a nice thing, and poor Layla not being able to see what she is doing must be really difficult for her.. Fergal got his Junior Warrant yesterday, really pleased for him, just wish I could get mine, still got 9 more points to go. Don't suppose I will get them. But will keep trying rite up to the end...Speak soon love to all Dee and the gang
