Don't feel too sorry for Dudley. 'The Doggie Bar' is in Dudley's  bedroom at his private boarder! I've found a very special guy who takes in special needs dogs.....elderly....handicapped....not neutered.....that kennels don't want.

Yes, we use lots of fans here in the Deep South. Not the best climate for an Irish breed. Was better when Dudley was still able to wander into streams and get his belly wet......without getting stuck in the muck. May buy kiddie pool for him this summer.

Very sorry for your lost Julia, it is always incredibly hard to let them go and in your case Dudley was such a very special companion for you. Hope your days and nights are filled with great memories that the two of you have shared. My heart is with you Julia!
