Myra, Pete loves it and is a very good swimmer - Also it is very warm in the UK at the moment and he finds it quite refreshing and relaxing! As he does not put any weight on his shoulder, he can really exercise the muscles without any pain!
Looks familiar. Willow went twice a week after her accident and I could see an improvement after one session. It was unbelievable, she also did the underwater treadmill and although it was a long way from home to go twice a week and in the middle of winter I really enjoyed taking her and by the time she finished her therapy she was a good swimmer. So good luck Peter, I am sure you will benefit from it.

Peter is getting on very well. He goes every other week and is now as smooth a swimmer as an Olympian! He has started to move again rather well on hard surfaces too so I think the treatment is working!

Catherine thanks for telling me to look, vets have found us two places to enquire about both offer slightly different therapies so I am to call and speak with the folks and see what we think. The myopathy caused problems on his legs so we are hoping this works for him. Ta
Delia, this photo was taken over a year ago. Peter now swims freely without the ropes and really enjoys it very much. His movement is as good as when he was young.
