A Sunday huntingtrip was a success

I was having my camera(again) and rifle with me when I went for just a little trip in the mountains today. And because the polar night-time is coming soon the light is not ideal for photo shooting. But other kind of shooting did happen ;))

If you can look the right spot, you might see the grouse as a bright white spot on the right in front of the dog. the picture is propably too small?

I had a lot of fun with my dogs(again) and am anxious to go again soon...

I can imagine inumerable white spots... great scenery! Looks like wolf country to me - are there any?

Susan, I suspect that somewhere there can be wolves but the northern part of Finland has been quite free from them. The problems with wolves killing dogs is in southeast of Finland.
This part of Finland has still active reindeerhusbandry and if wolves appear here we will hear from them...rumours run fast ;-)
