Phew! We're just back from our trip to Bunbury, and it was WELL worth it! Fionni showed his little heart out for a change (Dooley aka Mr Do It Little has NOTHING on Fionni when he's having a sulky setter moment, Willem!) and we came away with:

- Best of Breed

- Best Exhibit in Group

- Best Intermediate in Group

- Best Intermediate in Show; AND

- Runner Up Best Exhibit in Show!!

To top it off, my friend's lovely Weimy girl won Best Baby in Group! So it was a great day all around!

(Well, there was also the nice "catching up with the family" side of the day too...but I was too excited after the show to focus on much else...)

The dogs also enjoyed their congratulatory chicken nuggets too, so it was a good day for everyone really!

It rounds off a successful week for Fionni. His hip scores came back - a nice, low 8; well below the breed average of 15. Elbows were 0:0.

It was only a little show - but it was still fun :) I'm more happy that he showed himself off nicely instead of blobbing his way around the ring like he does when he's having a sulky. He even gave the judge one of his best dazzling grins (which I'm sure helped push him over the line). Usually, he just sighs and looks away...

Win or lose, its always good when they show well.

Woo Hoo! Well done again! I was there and happy to see the dazzling grin Fionni offered the judge. He showed very well - must be that Bunbury air! As for Miss Baby in Group, I am glad that her new passion for chasing flies was captured in the ring!
