Mac and Annabelle

Mac is on the left and Annabelle looked away. I couldn’t get any good stacked photos of them. Sorry about the crate mesh.

Mac and Annabelle both attained their Australian Championship Titles within 8 days days of each other. Annabelle led the way getting her first points in June last year but Mac overtook her. He gained his first points in February and finished in June!!!! He topped it off today by winning Best Intermediate In Group.

A rather grim note from the show today. A Bull Terrier was left in a car (windows down) but a soft leash left on the dog. He climbed out of the window and hung himself. Luckily, he was able to be resuscitated, but who knows what the eventual damage is?!! He had apparently, tore most of his front toenails off trying to save himself. One old ‘showie’ told me….never leave the dog on the leash unless you are on the other end!!!!!

the same happened two weeks ago here at a show, with a bullmastiff. i was walking the girls and realized that the dog hang out of the open door, leash stuck somewhere between the seats on the other side. i called for help and some brave men helped the poor dog who was very stressed by then. then the owner came and started to shout at us that we wanted to steal the dog and things out of the car!!!

OMG Laura,

the whole show  virtually stopped today while everyone was trying to help this dog. Luckily we haven't got that far in Australia when people accuse you of trying to steal their dogs. I hope this lady apoligised to you profusely

And yes I am VERY VERY proud of Mac and Annabelle.

Congratulations!!!  Well done Mac and Annabelle!!!!  So exciting for you Carmel.

So sorry to hear about the bully at the show.  I hope he is going to be OK.  Very frightening leaving dogs unattended wtih collars and leads on.
