Next McBirdy litter (expected this WE) - We're waiting for...
Mum Cheyenn is enormous. She prepares us certainly a beautiful football team of setters. But it will be rather for this weekend. Her body temperature did not fall yet (36,5°C instead of 38,5°C) what remains the surest index of a droping in the next hours. She is very serene and already visited the new installations.
We built a new welping box, because after 12 years of good services, the old box showed some deteriorations. The new box, hands-made, is also a little smaller, which make it possible to obtain more place when the pups start to go.
All is thus fine close, including the bed for the last hours of waiting.

Good luck with the upcoming litter, Jean! Cheyenn certainly could do with carrying less weight! Nice whelping box - the teddybear will be added later, I guess ... :-))

Hi Wanda, this bed is for me ! I sleep there the night during the delivery and also the two first nights with the puppies ! It' so important to have a look regulary ! Don't sleep very much ! just to be present !

Que tout se passe bien pour la maman et les petits.
Nous sommes aussi occupés (surtout Daniel) à construire la caisse de mise-bas. :-).
