After a long period of silent times we are back in pictures :)


The weather is nice and temperatures are nearly on the + side. Spring is always coming slowly up here in Lapland...


Grouse situation is looking good. Those we missed in the fall have come back. Where ever they left us, we don´t know ?but the important thing is that grouses are seen in big flocks. Those big flocks are difficult for a dog the get on under cataleptic point. Birds are very careful in flocks and usually fly away when a man is getting nearer the dog.

Whoops! DoggieBowling or is it sloping? :) The other is taking a downhill snowbath and the other got on the way...?

A point so keen on the bird that the bird is scared to move. The dog "hypnotizes" the bird to stay put ;) and then the dog is very,very still and steady in his pointing position...
