Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
As an interim measure until the official register provided by the Kennel Club is fully up and running, the SEISC has decided to offer an opportunity for owners to post their recent PRA rcd4 DNA test results.
This will be on our PRA rcd4 page.
This is available to all owners worldwide not just SEISC members and will be in a similar format to that already used by the Kennel Club.
For further details please see the Club website www.seisc.co.uk.
Listing will be available sometime today - slight kink in my "html" !!

Good news Yvonne. Sorry to hear about Jet Linda but at least it will never affect him. I am keeping everything crossed for you Colette and hope the outcome is the best for you.......good luck!!!
Colette, you are right but people will salvage their lines. Nothing is impossible!!!!
Sue Morgan,Sue Humphreys and Eva,thanks for your kind comments.
Tania,
Thank you for the above link.....very valuable information indeed! I hope others will go and read it too.
Hi Tanja,
I've had time to study the report in more detail now and am already looking forward to reading the reactions in the dog media.
I looked in the references at the end for the report on inbreeding in Irish Red & White Setters (mentioned in the main text) but could not find it. Does anyone know where I can read this report?
Unfortuntaley the link gets a bit lost here in the many responses on PRA - maybe you could consider placing it as a main blog for more people to read & react to?
