that is an interesting question.
i must go through my very big archive. i remember this dog was imported very long ago. and i must have somewhere a photo in black and white that was sold as a card in the shops over here. and then this big painting was made. before the seventies it went to every dog show and was fastened at the benches! in my years as organizer of clubshows i introduced the idea to show this picture again. i see leen mentioned the name of mr. deknatel. it was J.A. Deknatel Jr. from Baarn that imported this Austr. Champion to Holland. He was Winner 1947 and was mad up here. born 22-1-1944. You will have his pedigree, i assume.
one day i had written about this painting nad shamrock glen.
i will come back to you when i have found more.
