Irish Setter Club Belgium Field Trial at Bertinchamps (B) - 30/8/2009 - Judge: M. de le Hoye (B)

For the first Field Trial organised by our breed club, Fletcher of McBirdy pulled it off !

He won the first place with the qualification 'VERY GOOD !

14 dogs were engaged: some from The Netherland, some from France and of course from Belgium.

After training days, it was the great day !

Weather was fine and phesants seem not to be so clever than in Switzerland (see Susan's blog) !

SCAV Field Trial on pheasant in Corcelles, Switzerland, 29. August 2009

We knew it was not going to be easy...

By the end of the day not many of the 57 dogs entered (HPR breeds and Setters & Pointers) left with an award.

Glen was given three good runs and worked hard, but finally we got cheated by a clever pheasant that first 'legged it' in the sugar beet and then flushed behind him... The wind kept changing direction, the ground was dry and hard going for dogs and handlers and the pheasants refused to… Continue

Travelling and birthday parties

We travelled to Tallin for the Baltic Winner 2009 show. We had such a nice and sunny day and met so many old friends! Thanks for you all :)

Loads of news !

Since June we have lots of good news but no time to put everything on the site to share them with you all.

We have such a beautiful summer that as soon as I get home from work that I take advantage of this to have lovely long walks with the girls ! ! !

Yet another Birthday missed....:-(

No wonder I am totally pissed off!

I was 5 years old on the 26th of july...and did she miss my birthday? She most certainly did!
