Remeber Ivy and her foal? Well after her bad start, the (still unnamed) foal went to a foal-show. We did not expect that much...but we were hoping!

Saffys babies

Well I must thank everyone for all their kind thoughts on Saffy and the forthcoming litter, well whoever got the raffle number of 15 is the winner of the competition. She didn't however have a normal birth, she ended up with a C-Section this afternoon, and 11 boys and 4 girls were born at 3.45 this afternoon.

Thank you all for the wonderful thoughts and it did make the time go quickly and for the wonderful joviality of everyone concerned.

Pika's pups are 3 weeks old

These were taken on Saturday 1/8/2009 when they "tried" to have their first meal. As you can imagine the food was everywhere but inside the pups. Doing better though after a few tries. Must say their mum enjoyed licking them clean.

Just an unbelievable weekend! We had Iisalmi International dog show in Finland this weekend and Redword Irish Setters coudn't have much more than we got! Irish Setters judged by Blaz Kavcic from Slovenia, group 7 Eeva Rautala from Finland.

Oh dear...what went wrong?

You have seen them all here on this site...those perfectly stacked puppies...and the cute ones. Here is one of mine, sent to me by the puppy-buyers (who by the way are delighted with their puppy). Looks more like a monster to me...hey...what went wrong? :-)

And here is another one of the same puppy...an irish red setter. As we all know, a gentle and sweet breed... I just have to blame it all on the stud-dog :-)…

Lohmann's Milan's puppies are 7 weeks old

New Arrival :)

Hello all

Just wanted to announce the arrival of my baby girl, Niamh Maia, born on 23 July at 9.08am. It was quite a difficult birth, and I ended up needing an emergency c-section. But I'm home now and doing well, and Niamh is a lovely, good baby.

Here's a pic for you all :) She has the same giant cheeks as she had in her 3D pic!…
