Beautiful place!! My first time there and you can walk dogs around the grounds(on lead)! Castles and setters look so well together!!;o))

The weather was glorious most of the day and only pi**ed with rain for the outdoor events!!;o) But we setter folk are a hardy bunch!!! Ursula the lady in white is a long time setter exhibitor, breeder and judge Jean Turner ;o)) She didnt have any dogs with her so could get away with white I suppose??;o)

No dogs with her...ah well, that explains the white coat! Looks very clean and lacking the usual paw-print-pattern! :-)

In the morning there was a talk and presentation on the show standard and also the working style of the red setter including photos and videos! Unfortunately I could not attend this part, but arrived for the afternoon live demonstration of working dogs and a short demo of dogs in the show ring(my two girls got to take part in this bit) There was supposed to be a workshop(hunting) for new dogs but either weather or time cut this short, and only a few of us got to try our dogs out on a bit of training!! Hopefully this will be given more time at the next get together? But a very enjoyable day none the less!!;o) Would definitely go again!
