DOWNGRADING OF PHOTOS

I know that I may upset one or two people or there may be a few who will think that I have no right to place a blog such as this. However, during the last few months in particular there seems to be trend where certain members are deliberately down grading the ratings on certain dogs. When I first joined this site it was a wonderful place where true Irish Setter lovers exchanged words of advice, encouragement and congratulations with each other, exhibitors and pet owners alike.

WE ARE 3 WEEKS OLD ALREADY

How time really does fly. NZ CH Amhurst Borrowed Heaven (Kerry) and Coppers Midsummer Magic (Eamonn) babies are already 3 weeks old. They are so cute and

LOOK WHO'S ONE YEAR OLD (Happy birthday Coppers Midsummer Magic)

My word how quickly this first year has flown and already Eamonn is one year old. Thankyou so much Camilla for sending this young rascal so far, he most certainly is a much loved member of the family. HERE WE ARE AT 5.5 WEEKS

Well how time has flown and Fleur's and Morgans' young sons are already 5.5 weeks old. Both Farquar and Crawford did very well for their first time on the grooming table and stacked quite well.

HERE WE ARE AT 2.5 WEEKS OLD

Fleur's (Triseter Celtic Fleur) and Morgan's (Weblyn Mr Moran) two young sons are doing very well and are already 2.5 weeks old. They are our first home bred litter of Gordon Setters here at Briongloid Kennels. As you can tell from the photos their mums owner, James, ensures that his young recruits have enough toys to keep them happy and warm. Young Crawford and Farquar are very spoilt puppies indeed.…

OUR FIRST HOME BRED GORDON SETTER LITTER HAS ARRIVED

COPPERS MIDSUMMER MAGIC

Eamonn had a terrific day of showing at Tokoroa Kennel Association under Linda Strongman from New Zealand. The little guy was awarded reserve best dog, reserve of breed and best puppy in the gundog group. His three house mates Tara ( Solasdas Copper Ruse) was awarded the bitch challenge and Intermediate of breed,Nuela (Marindallas Nuela) reserve bitch challenge and junior of breed and Kerry (Amhurst Borrowed Heaven) open of breed. The Birthday Girls TARA, KERRY & FLEUR wish everyone a Happy & Healthy 2010.

December was a very busy month for birthdays with Tara turning 2 years old on 17th, Kerry 3 years old on the 26th and Fleur 2 years old on the 31st. Along with wishing everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR we would also like to thank everyone on ES for their fantastic support during the past year it has been very much appreciated. Coppers Midsummer Magic & Marindallas Nuela win Baby Puppy & Puppy In Show

Little Coppers Midsummer Magic (Eamonn) and Marindallas Nuela (Nuela) did us very proud by winning Best Baby Puppy and Best Puppy in show at East Coast Gundog Club. The judge was Rhys Dwyer, an Irish Setter Specialist from New Zealand. COPPERS MIDSUMMER MAGIC MAKES HIS DEBUT

Little Eamonn had his first show at the weekend. After the long journey the little guy still had his tail wagging and thoroughly enjoyed his day out. NZ CH AMHURST BORROWED HEAVEN WINS RESERVE IN SHOW AT THE NEW ZEALAND IRISH SETTER CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 2009

Saturday 31st October is a date all the family will remember. NZ CH AMHURST BORROWED HEAVEN ( Aust Ch Coppers Prins Trollmane & Amhurst Moonlinneh)

The labour weekend shows in Auckland, New Zealand hosted a superb line up of international judges from the UK, Ireland, Canada and the USA. The Kiwi Redheads have fun at Huntly and District Kennel Association

WELCOME MARINDALLAS NUELA

Nuela comes to us from the Marindallas Kennels of Don and Leslie Emms, Christchurch here in New Zealand. Her dam is a lovely bitch boasting Wendover lines and her sire is a UK import namley Kirkavagh Priola At Marindallas. NZ CH SILMANHURST ADOLPHUS (Aka Danny, Jo's best friend)

Aust CH Copper's Prins Trollmane's daughters win the bitch challenges at Hibiscus Coast KA

The alarm clock went off at 5.00 am on sat 31st Jan 09. The temperature was already hot outside so I thought " Dog show no way".
