NZ CH AMHURST BORROWED HEAVEN WINS RESERVE IN SHOW AT THE NEW ZEALAND IRISH SETTER CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW 2009

Saturday 31st October is a date all the family will remember. After a long trip south to Taupo with 4 Irish for the champ show we were all excited as our new baby Eamonn (Coppers Midsummer Magic) was due to arrive into Auckland later that evening. However, we managed to concentrate on the job in hand and are delighted to say that our lovely girl Kerry ( Amhurst Borrowed Heaven) did the whole kennel proud by winning the bitch CC, intermediate in show and then reserve best in show under Barbara Kay from the UK. Barbara also awarded her the stakes award of best bitch head. Our little girl Nuela ( Marindallas Nuela) also did us proud by winning best puppy in show and a big thankyou to her handler, Danielle, who is a great source of support for me.
To top off a day of great results for us my big couch potato, Danny ( Silmanhurst Adolphus), made his mum ever so proud by beating some top winning dogs in the open class and then took best open in show.
As you can see for the photos little Eamonn may have missed the show but was more than happy to join in the celebrations afterwards
