Happy Birthday Pitanga!

It's Pitanga's birthday today and I woke up to a very Winterish morning... Cold and rain! Romã was brave enough to go outside but soon gave up and came back to bed. Pitanga didn't even bother :)

We slept in for an extra 3 hours and I had Irish spread all over me - there were heads and paws and tails from my two girls everywhere! I used this extra time to look at my 3 year old girl and her (now) crazy daughter and thought about how far they have come and how my life has changed since I have my two red miracles.

Pitanga was a skinny "punk" girl who cared and listened to nobody. She is now a gentle lady, very atentive to what is told and enjoys every minute she gets to spend with her family - she has also put on some weight and now looks just wonderfull!

Her daughter Romã was a sweet baby until two months ago, when she decided to go trough her very own "punk-rock" phase, and is now a rebbel dog - despite all the crazyness, she is still a loving and obedient girl!

These two have brought so much to my life, that today feels more like Christmas than Pitanga's birthday - 3 years ago, December 5th was the day that allowed my life to become this great!

Thank you very much for being my first miracle, Pitanga!
