LUPIN IS SEVEN WEEKS IN WHELP............BUT WHO'S COUNTING!!!

When the frozen semen arrived in Western Australia, from Copper's Prat Bubbla, in Sweden,it was stored at Dr Sue Joubert's clinic. However, Sue was away, three weeks later, when Lupin came in to season, so we had to relocate "Ibsen" to another Veterinary Surgeon, capable of this technology. Enter Dr Philip Lawton into our lives, and the most capable vet, living and operating his clinic, in a tiny village, more than 80 kilometers from Perth. For me, Dr Phil has managed to succeed, where no other vet has, and for the first time ever, I have one of my Irish in whelp to semen - frozen at that!
Dr Phil has all the technology and equipment, and a love for the animals. He adores Lupin, and I still cannot believe that a vet with his expertise, is practising in the sleepy hollow town of Toodyay, with a poulation of just 800!
So here are the pictures of Lupin and Dr Phil, taken on Monday, now less than two weeks until "D"day! "D" of course being delivery day.
Lupin has been carefully monitored throughout her pregnancy, and we eagerly await the arrival of what really is "History in the Making!"

It's so exciting, Myra! i can't wait to see the lovely litter. Maybe you should have a "historic" theme for their names? ;)

Dear Myra, we all hold our fingers crossed for you and dear Lupin. I just love this girl, since I have seen her as a puppy first time on the Camillas web-page. Good luck and I truly would like to see babies from this litter.
