I graduated from University of Tennessee Knoxville with my BS in education in 1984. I just recently got my Masters in Educational Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University. I have been teaching 15 years. I stayed home with my two sons for seven years. Now that one is at UTK and the other one will be attending in the fall, I had decided to go back to get my masters, buy a boat, and get a dog! lol Perhaps a slight mid-life crisis! TTU is about 2 1/2 hours from Knoxville. 

Red is doing well in the house. He seems to have some separation anxiety, but that is improving. We have had him about two weeks. He was dragging me all over the yard, but I bought one of the gentle leader harnesses and it has worked well. We will be putting up a fence so that he can run. He is very interested in the wildlife we live around.  We live on family property around 400 acres. He would love to roam, but it would be too dangerous. Any tips on how to get him to come when we call. He does this inside, but not outside.

thank you for the wishes Catherine! we had a little party with my 3 best friends yesterday, got a lovely cake as well, home-made choco and chestnut, yum yum!!

Thanks for the Birthday wishes!!  We are all well here and enjoying "June-uary" in Washington DC.  I will try to update my so-called blog on Cosmo soon!  :)  I've been remiss despite his continuing antics -- no shortage of material with setters!
